Negril West End

Topic: Ideal hang out spots|

NEGRIL’S WEST END begins at the roundabout in the center of town and meanders along the rugged cliffs becoming Lighthouse Road at Negril lighthouse and continues inland to Orange Hill. Azure waters, stunning rocky caverns and scenic cliffs are what separates this part of Negril from the beach. This is Jamaica’s extreme westerly point and this ensures that the sun set from the West End is the best you’ll see. People flock to the West End for sun set making it somewhat of an institution. The first time you sit with a drink in hand with most of the heat of the day gone, and take in the scene as the sun kisses the day good bye, you’ll understand why. There is a plethora of hotels, spas, restaurants and bars to be found on “the sunset strip” with such variety that there is something to suit most everyone. You can enjoy delicious jerk chicken at a roadside stall or dine in style at a fine restaurant. Stay at a cliff side boutique hotel or stay in clean and basic accommodation, the choices are great. Best of all, West End Negril has that special vibe that is unique to it. Its welcoming, authentically Jamaican and stunning.
