TV: CTV Live on Jamaica’s culture

CTV Live is back!

CREATIVE TELEVISION’S (CTV) premiere live show returns with a new twist and a different flavour. The show slated to run for thirteen weeks, takes place before a live studio audience in CPTC’s main studio every Thursday at 7:30 to 9:30 pm, with re-broadcasts on weekends.
CTV Live comprises six exciting discussion segments from “Live Worthy” to “In Da House” featuring popular artistes in performance. Up and coming artistes will be highlighted in the “Up and Coming” segment, while “Tech in Ten” updates on everything technological. In the “Open Segment” persons of varied interest will be interviewed and/ore discussed,and, “Culture Reel” will clue viewers into Jamaica’s rich cultural heritage.
“It’s one of our flagship programmes” says CTV’s manager Gary Neita, in commending producer, Keisha O’Meally, the production & technical teams and Bert Rose & Lawrence Tulloch of Rose & Company who are responsible for the set decor”.

Emphasizing that CPTC and CTV have been looking forward to the challenge and fun of the live production, Neita added that CTV Live is now “more interactive this time around.” Viewers can now phone in and speak with the hosts and entertainers on 922-7255, and participate in live internet chat room at www.creativetvtcjamaica.com/ctvlive”.
“We have new faces as well as some former presenters back on the set” explained Keisha O’Meally. Main hosts Denise “Isis” Miller, Omar Frith, and Cherely Griffiths along with new faces Jerry Benzwick and segment presenter Kevear Clunie are collectively committed to adding life and energy to the programme.
CTV, whose executive producer is the CPTC’s Angela Patterson, is Jamaica’s #1 cable channel for Arts and Culture and aims to raise the level of cultural awareness by providing quality programmes which highlight the best of Jamaican and Caribbean Arts and Culture.
Other popular programmes produced by CPTC and aired on CTV include; Hill an’ Gully Ride, Lyrically Speaking, Healthy Lifestyles and Random Access.
CTV is found on channel 394 for areas with FLOW’s cable distribution and where ever CTV is found on other local cable networks.
