One Love Drive for Negril

NEGRIL’S WEST END road or One Love Drive has been undergoing a facelift with the help of art students from the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, which is Jamaica’s premier art college.

The project is part of plans by the Negril West End Cluster to promote Negril and boost its West End in particular. It is being funded by the government of Jamaica and the European Union. The aim is to support and aid all types of businesses along the West End, making the area a premier Jamaican attraction and resort area.

The design and painting of shop fronts is just the beginning. Plans are underway to add much needed sidewalks and ultimately create a festival atmosphere offering the best in shopping, arts, music, restaurants and all things authentically Jamaican.
