The tour begins with a Zimbali greeting & introduction while sipping a freshly made fruit juice. Then "Fudd" our farm manager leads a tour of the farm and then back to the cooking studio for a fun filled cooking demonstration which includes a bottle of wine/couple.
Both lunch and dinner consist of: an appetizer, main course and dessert, w/ dinner having an extra appetizer as well. There is a choice in main course dishes between: fish, chicken, shrimp or vegan/vegetarian- Gluten free is a welcome option as well.
Zimbali is lucky to have a great Rasta Tour with our good friend "Fire". You come to Zimbali and our guide takes you up to the Fires camp- a moderate hike into the hills and back in time. Along the way you cross the river and stop at the spring to fill your water bottles from Gracie’s spring which has provided water for this area for 100's of years.
At Fires camp you are surrounded by fruit trees he has been planting for over 30 years and he cooks you an Ital lunch on the wood fire as it has been since the beginning of time.
He is super cool and a great guy to talk to and see the real Rasta Livity ;)
