they did that once while we were there, got a x-tra day on the Island but with trying to make sure we were ready when the plane was, just meant more "terminal time"...even in J that sucks....................

How many air traffic controllers can there be in Jamaica? 18-20?

sounds bad. I hope it gets resolved soon (I am traveling Saturday). I don't understand how the MBJ chief commercial office can say that operationally there is no reason for flights not to come in. I mean there must be a reason that Jet Blue passengers are waiting for hours on end at JFK because their flight won't take off, US airways cancelled flights and American Airline cancelled flights. The main concern for me is safety. If I get stuck in a terminal for hours on end, sure that will suck--but I am more concerned about safe take-offs and landings.
