Westender - a few pics

We had another great trip to Negril. This year we stayed at the Westender Inn. The place was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Every one of them. Germaine, Tamesha, both Kanesha's, Kamar, Kelvin, Wright, Chris, Winsome, Karen, and the rest of the staff did everything they could to make our stay what we wanted it to be. We had read about the place before going and knew it was out of town a bit. If you like peace & quiet this place is definitely for you.
Our 1st room, #2, was not the one I thought I had reserved. While nice there was no view at all. We talked to Tamesha about it and on our 3rd night we were moved to #7 which is the one I thought I had reserved.
We liked the Westender and the staff as I said was exceptional but we both agreed we would rather be further up the West end. Also the waves were up the entire stay so I could not snorkel.

Oh I miss Germaine and Kemar and Kelvin.......they are the sweetest. So happy to see you posting and can't wait to hear your take on the property. You guys WALKED to out of town pastry?? Holy Cow lol....nice walk but whew! Lovely property and I really enjoyed my stay there. So quiet - no stress.

I walked to Out of Town one morning, bought some patties and loafs and paid a route driver at the turnaround to take me back. I rented a bicycle after that walk and used it to get around some. But that's another story.
I hope I didn't sound too negative. Bet & I really liked the place. As you had said it is beautiful and the people were fantastic. We had a great time do not regret staying there. However we got a chance to reserve the Gemini at Catcha again for next year and one of those spur of the moment things, Bet said do it.
Now, since she is unemployed, we are talking about ways to save and make sure it happens. :)
