? about transition

will there be a eventual integration of the existing post archives, or are tha old messages lost forever once the transition is complete?

just wondering, a fresh start can be good.. lotta great posts on the old board though

Rob answered this somewhere but I am not sure where so figured I would just report from memory what he said.
He said that the old board will remain and be used for archive and search purposes only, meaning we will still be able to go to that site and search for and view/read old posts but the message board itself will no longer allow new posts.
