And who the heck are you to determine where and how one expresses grief and condolences. Expressing oneself on this board is a easy. There are other more personal and sincere ways of sending condolences. Personal emails, phone calls, flowers, in person. Don't assume too much and don't judge. Then go back and read Rob and Lisa's expression of love to Stan and Betty.

I don't often respond to much, but come on...emotions can be so strong when someone has passed ...the love that Lulu and Al have for Betty is obvious. I don't know either of them personally but I can read between the lines of nothing but love. Please be forgiving and see that at times we can be overcome with emotion. No disrespect meant just some "overstanding". My heart goes out to all those who love her and those of us not fortunate enough to have gotten to know her. One of our boardies is gone to a better place with no pain and only the fond memories of joy....which I have no doubt...Jamaica is one. One love......

Yes, when I see Headlines like: Once again I need to inform you, & The silence is defining& With a heavy heart, all of which I was expecting a tribute to Betty, I missed the one liner, for all that have ever been to the yearly bash: you know we were with Stan and Betty at most parties, go on youtube and see Stan sing to Lulu and I, I'm crying!

Sorry Dash, but you are off base man. Rob, Lisa, and Seastar are all capable of defending themselves. Your assumption of what one might have done is no better than the assumption that nothing was done.

A lot of folks are hurting right now, no need to socialize anymore drama on this site or any other. Betty was a gentle soul and to see bickering in regards to her passing is really sad.

I never questioned their sincerity. I questioned their criticism of others at this sad time. I apologize if it came off harsh.

Grief is a very personal thing. I didn't know Betty well but when I met She and Stan the love they shared was so true and amazing. I don't know all of the inside info of the Nigril boardies, but I sort of think they are a family with ups and downs like most other families. And I hope the focus is on Stan and Betty and the love they had for one another, not how any given person deals with grief. <3
