    Need current point of reference

Great black and whit shot back in the 60's when Negril was born.

Can anyone provide a current point of reference as to the location
of the thatch buildings are in the foreground.. ??? I'm thinking the
bend in the beach should be Alfreds, that would make the huts up
around the old Blue whale but I can't be sure. I'd love to recreated
this shot current day to see the difference.

    Any Help Rob?

It's the Sands Club. The beach only looks narrow. That's all sea grass after a storm.

It's just about where Seaplash is now

Negril Sands Club owned by Elananor Gubler is probably where Footprints / Swept Away is. I used to swim from Treehouse to Sands every morning in the 80's.

Yes I do remember the hobbies cats. I was on one to the reefs, driver just sailed away, lol. I happen to be a good swimmer , he circled back in time to get me. Elenor( thanks for the spell correction on her name)
Is she still living in Canada? Her family owned all of Negril.

The driver was "Love I"..... Typical behavior...made me nuts

Elinor's father was lawyer Tomlinson (Busta's lawyer from Green Island)

Last I heard from Joy Reynolds was that Elenor was not in good health in Canada
