cigarettes? no, thank you.
paddle board? yes, i want to learn how to do that.
then i focus a on my mission of the day. and take a shower .. i made sure i had an outdoor one, but with all the privacy of an indoor one. if you haven’t experienced this, i suggest you add an outdoor shower to your room preferences. i highly recommend it, and , well, i’m old(er).
after the shower, i pack a day bag and walk to the road.. i start walking toward town and as soon as i put my arm out, a route taxi screeches to a stop .. i love route taxis. not only are they cheap, but you just never know what the driver will be like and sometimes, it’s someone you call if you need more customized transport. and sometimes it's an adventure in its self.
after getting dropped off at round-about, I start walking toward Sav, and soon i’m at my destination.
St. Anthony’s Kitchen.. i volunteered there a couple of days last yr and met a little girl that i was not able to get off my mind, even after months of being back home.. finally, i emailed Fadder Jim to ask if she had a sponsor in the Get Kids to School program..
she didn’t..
sweet Rihanna.
Rihanna and her Auntie Pun were already there at the Kitchen.
