Question Gluten Free Bread and Uncooked Shrimp

Has anyone been able to find gluten free bread in Negril, Sav or Mobay?

Also where is the best place to buy Uncooked shrimp?

We'll be doing our own cooking for a month or so and need to find economical places to shop.

    Thanks

That should be so easy to find with those specific directions, I'm not sure about the gluten free bread but they might have it at Hi-lo but your best bet would be Mega-Mart in Mo-bay. and uncooked shrimp/lobster can be had at (fish shop) on the land side of the cliff road somewhere between the Canoe Bar and Mi-yard. I'm running it thru my head like i'm walking it. I have gotten 6 lobsters for 40/ and 10lbs of shrimp for about the same. Also the Hi-lo has great smoked pork chops, and deli bacon on sale some times. And if you are in town the last Wed. of the month might check out the veggie/fruit market on the beach road in the park just past the craft market. We do the same thing as we are staying for almost 3 months this yr.

Quality Traders is painted bright green and is on the west end road just before you get to HiLo at Sunshine Plaza. They have a selection of specialty/gourmet items along the back wall. You might find something there. I also like their local ground beef, which is in one of the freezers.

they actually have 2 crossfit gyms in Negril on just past the round about going twds sav. on the right just past the Texico in a small plaza that also had what used to be a casino and one of the cliff road down the road by the Banmark motorcycle rental on the the corner of that road youturn and go up about 1/2 a km on the right there is a new gym only open a little over a yr has great equip, and a juice& reg. bar and most days they also have someone cooking chicken in a barrel. That gym is $5 per day or 50 a month.

That's too funny. The only reason I knew it was there cause our landlord went there and the gym was having a 1yr appreciation dinner, and it sort of struck me as funny that the gym has a juice bar on the gym side and a reg. bar on the garden side and the guy that was cooking for the party said he cooks there most days, (barrel jerk chicken). So it sort of defetes the purpose of working out But i woild consider going there if that was my thing because they have all top of the line equipment.
