Trip report getting my groove on..spanksgiving week 2014

I finally got caught up in real life to be able to read all this good stuff. Haha!

Looks like we went to a lot of the same places as you guys that night. Unfortunately, about an hour or so after y'all left.

It sucks that you weren't feeling that great.

I never wear mosquito spray, hardly ever get bothered by them...my wife gets eaten alive...well, i don't think i got bit, never had any bites that i noticed...but something rob wrote on here about chick v made me think...i dont know, but here is my story...

thursday evening I started feeling a scratchy throat and runny nose....we always bring a little of everything, so i took an antibotic and huge swig of nyquil before i crashed...we have been partying until wee hours of morning and waking up fairly early every morning....well i slept until 1215 friday...took it as i was exhausted from lack of rest....got up, tried to smoke and after a couple tokes, put it back down..that's when janet knew i was sick...Shanna from Legends walked by and said to go to the store and told her what to get me...anyway, i was sore like i had played softball all day, and then hot, cold, hot cold...after i insisted janet go have fun with roy and sheri (no need of her being miserable with me) they head out to drifters at about 230...i couldnt stand it anymore, about 330pm i head that way...Big shiney and mango arrived yesterday, and were supposed to join us at drifters today, so i had to go.....no food all day, figured dirty banana would help...so i got my 2 and continued to drifters...the gang all welcomed me, and it was on....for about 20 minutes....lol...it was raining off and on, and it started raining when the first of many feelings hit me..up came the dirty bananas...i was able to slip off to the side, unnoticed...but i told janet i was out, and just as fast as i appeared, i disappeared...walked back to legends in the rain....got to the room, undressed and jumped under the covers...i remember janet checking on me, remember her telling me bill and donna walked her back to legends and everyone was going to a party....i remember waking up at about 9 am the next day......

now, saturday i was still sick, but it was my last day, so i took all the cold stuff i could find, ate eggs for breakfast, soup for lunch....and although i was out of it for the most part, i forced myself to go out..caught a second wind at seastar for awhile, but was weak and out of it all day...

sunday i was sick on the fide home, monday took off work and got a lot of heat for taking off on the 1st day back....2 weeks later, i was just gettin over it...what caught my attention, though was that i had knee surgery 20 years ago...well a couple days after being back, i could not walk on that leg for about 3 days...didnt have any noticable pain in any other joints but i read robs post about old injurys and it made me think that i may have caught the virus...didnt go to the doc and i feel better...but i guess it could be...

anyway, i will finish up the last 2 days of my report...

as mentioned, friday is a great day at drifters....

these 2 people, billndonna, have joined the list of "friends for life"...friends that we met in negril and are a special bunch of folks...we were able to reunite with about a dozen or so oldfriends, and added these 2 to the list......(we have already spent the weekend with them since this thanksgiving trip) we have 20-30 more that we hope to see again soon...

we walk down to coconut international...we have been stopping here since our 1st trip, giving these two boys candy and stuff on each trip...a look back at our trip reports shows how they grow over the couple of years...

we walk down to rasta Culture's place, where our buddy Dwight is working...we want to say goodbye to dwight...another child gets some things from janet..

Our friend Dwight was not there, but we had some playtime with the puppies....fed them some dog food....

Last day is a sad day with everyone leaving but it sure was great to have you and Janet come to Bills2carbar and hang with us for a day,great friends and you are welcome here anytime,might even make you suffer through more Fireball Jelly shooters!!
