There is a new bar Hakuna Matata (Swahili for No WORRIES) behind/attached to PABLO'S restaurant which is across from Samsara, 100 yards north toward town. Not really off beaten path, but for sure worth stopping in for beverage and conversations.

Not sure what off the beaten path is to you...but there's loads of places to hang further in the West End....Murphy's restaurant, Penny's Seafood, Whoopee's has reopened and will be offering food, Just Natural is great for breakfast, Barney's Hummingbird garden is a nice place to visit, a little further out is the Sunset Bar...
More towards downtown....Quality's Seafood was opened last season....Janette's on the beach...Vietnamese restaurant (forgot name) on the beach road...

I could name even more places that you may have yet to discover...even places like Red Dragon or Collette's could be suggested...let us know where you've been hanging so we can add to the list....

Great to hear about Hakuna Matata! Right in my neighborhood.... Really good to hear Whoopie's is open. Many nice afternoons spent there with Dennis. Hmmm, think I'll go find a rum and orange juice.

From Negril to Sav you'll find so many great little places....a couple of our favs are Travellers (or Tootsies) and further out a place called Mingles. I'd grab a driver and just have them stop when a place looks interesting to you...loads of fun.
