Forgive my laziness for not searching through every post because I know this question must have been discussed before. We are searching for a "new Alfred" to transport us to Negril. We loved hanging out with him, stopping for beer and subs on the way and laughing non stop. Any suggestions?
We used Rocky's last trip. Highly recommend. Also Shane is a very good choice. I will post his number later.

Great driver and my new "regular"
Hey Mort! Were still searching for our 'new Alfred' (RIP my friend) with no such luck. We have tried a few others and even though there was nothing wrong with them, it just isn't the same. I did however read recently that Michael from Michaels On-Time Taxi(unfortunately he can not accomodate my large group) use to be his right hand man and that Rocky and him were friends.

I would also recommend Michael's On Time Taxi. It's true that he was Alfred's right hand man. We have used Michael for several trips and his service was exceptional, every time. He's entertaining, knows his way around the island and is, of course, always on-time. On a recent trip he took us to Abeokuta and got on the rope swing and swam in the water with us.
He currently only has one car (a nice sized station wagon), so he can't accommodate large groups. However, he told me that he's looking to expand his business, so he might be upgrading to a van in the future.

All the specialties your lil heart wants or desires, he will make available to you. Great personality, very personable and he is always on time. I've used him more than several times. He also provides his services for day trips. I can't say enough about him and yes, whereas Alfred cannot be replaced, Michael is now my top driver. I've used several drivers over the last decade and Alfred was #1 and now Micheal is #1.
I agree, Michael's On-Time Taxi is great! We are using him again in 35 days and can't wait! Have fun!
