Any reports from other parts of the island? Based on the info. I have seen, east-facing beaches tend to be the most impacted, as the prevailing winds in the Caribbean are from the east, while west-facing (like Negril!) have less of an issue. N and S facing can vary. Of course there are exceptions.

I have been watching one beach web cam of another area in the Caribbean (an area that is being affected by the seaweed), I feel so sorry for both the tourist who have booked to stay there and the workers that face the continuing battle to clean up the mess on the beach.

I'm happy to see that Negril is being spared all this. Negril Beach looks so inviting!
