I need to go up in the Hills to stock up

Well, it was my second week, and I needed to get stocked up.
"I know, I'll call my main man Nick. He's a taxi driver and of course
has his own hours of operation.
Not a morning person, so I can always catch him at home before he starts running his route.
    "Yo, Nick, whagwaan? I said
    Marko? what's uo mon.
"I need to head to the hills again"
    You ready? he said.
    "I was born ready"
    Ok, Ok, soon come. Click
I was staying in the family yaad, and Nick knew it.
Soon, his brand new Taxi pulled in front of the house.
    "Nick, this new man?'
Yeah, Na, got it a few weeks ago.
    "That's new!" LOL
He had the new taxi that has the automatic opening door.
I hopped in the front and off you drove.
    "Where to?"
"The Hills", I need to re-stock".

We twisted and wound our way up, up and away!
It had started raining very lightly, but it was still a bright day.
Up in the hills, Nick pulled over to what he calls" the office".

A little board shop that he and his friends use to hang out.
Sorta like his base of operations. LOL
In the back was the spot.
It was up the side of a steep hill.
Being still a little wet, I felt a little scared.
Man, we gotta walk up that hill? I asked.
"How else you gonna get up there, that's the house, that little board house at the top.

There were no steps, just carved out places where you should put your feet.

    Nick led the way.
Not a lot of steps, but it was steep and I could feel my thighs start to talk to me.
We got there and Nick yelled "OY"
This woman came out and opened a bag of her wares.
Then a man came out and started to tell me that his product was rated very high
at the Ganga fest last week.
"Oh yeah, I passed it many a time, but never went in" I said.
    It was nice Nick said,
All kinds of products were on display, cookies, tea, cakes, brownies, you name it, it was there.

I took a look, gave it a sniff and asked was it ready, or did I need to let it dry?
Its ready to burn mon, the man replied.

Now it was time to leave, I said goodbye, turned around and saw the path leading down.
Aw man, look at the hill.
    Going down would be worse!

    "You go first Nick"
"Yeah mon, step where I step" he said.

Half way down I saw him step an a patch of grass that looked slippery, but he did not slide, he just stepped and kept stepping.
I was looking very hard and I put my foot down in the
    exact same place.
    My foot slid.
    I started to go down,
But I was ready and did a nice butt plant and came up in a jiffy with
because I had my hand out and caught the ground before my butt hit.
Nick, was talking, did not see me fall, but he saw me
    getting back up.
"Did you fall?" I told you to be careful"

"I was careful, I'm good! Keep going!"

Man, I was so happy to get off that "mountain".
At the bottom, we went into the "office" and chilled a while.

I would return to that hill in a few weeks.

I'd love some cookies but climbing that hill would be difficult for me - rats.
