best thingy to do is do some research ahead of time and then go door knocking or view rentals when you arrive......
mi personally wouldn't lock into sumthin till mi saw da place......
around our Pee Wee Lane/Ella Drive on da West End der are many monthly rentals places.....
for starters check with Everton at Croton Grove for his rates and options....Croton Grove will be not be the cheapest.....
but it will give you an idea with what kind of rates you are dealing with......
off da top of mi head.......Summerset Village on Summerset Lane probably give you the best rate for a month

Expensive is a relative term. Can you give an idea of what you may want to spend for a monthly rental?

It would be easier to respond if you provide some more info. Such as:

What are your required amenities – air conditioning or will just fans be okay (rates are much cheaper if no a/c); do you need a full kitchen or can you make do with just a small frig and a coffee maker; does it have to be one unit large enough for 2 couples/4 people, or would adjoining rooms with a shared kitchen work or would 2 rooms in the same property suffice.

And as Bnewb noted … what is your price range, ie under $100/night plus taxes, under $200/night, under $300/night, etc specifying if the range is for 2 persons or 4 persons There is accommodation in Negril for every price range!

You are wise to start your research early – February is the busiest month in Negril and many of the repeat travelers book their accommodation months in advance to get their favorite rooms.
