Gotta get the kids out the Yaad...Lets go fly a Kite!

I always bring the wee ones a few toys and gifts and school supplies.

I was walking down the Toy aisle the other day
    and I saw Kites.
    Hmmm, that's an idea!

I use to love to fly them when I was small.

So, I grabbed 3 and carried them in my luggage this trip.
My plan was to hoist one up when I was maybe 1/2 block away from their house.
But, The electric lines were all over the place.

I still had a small carry on suitcase full of stuff too.
Well, can't manage them both, so I will wait until I arrive at the family yaad.

So I made it there, but nobody was out on the veranda?

I started to call the 2 year old.
HELP, Little angel, I need your HELP. HELP!!

All of a sudden I heard someone yell, "Mark here"
Then the sound of teeny weeny feet running, and voila! There she was!

It was so nice seeing my family again, but my boy and the older girl were not home.
The 2 year old did not care, she was already digging in the suitcase.

No, no, not that one, yes that one, no not those yes theses are for you.
After a while I heard the girl yell out my boy's name.
I peeped through the grill of the veranda gate and saw them coming.
    They were really dragging.
On a Saturday, out of the house, there was no hurry to return.
I peeped around the corner and the girl saw me first.

    At once she yelled "MARK!!"
then the boy exploded and started flying towards the house.

After we finished checking out the gifts, I asked him to ask Mom could we go to the Soccer field and hoist up the Kites.

With permission granted, we set off, the boy with an Avenger/Spiderman Kite and the girl with Captain America.

As we walked, they were holding the kites tightly and I told them to mind the string, don't get them tangled.
Soon, there was a trail of little kids following us and asking questions.

We made it to the field and the kites instantly were sailing along high in the sky in the Jamaican breeze.

The kids shared and about 6 kids took turns flying the kites.

We stayed out for about 1and 1/2 hour and fun was had by all.

With tuppence for paper and strings
You can have your own set of wings
With your feet on the ground
    You're a bird in a flight
    With your fist holding tight
To the string of your kite

    Oh, oh, oh!
    Let's go fly a kite
    Up to the highest height!
Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring
    Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite!

Great idea! I bet they all loved it!
