    Flow coverage and iPhone SIM

How is Flow's coverage in Negril? Are they selling nano SIMs for people why bring their iPhone to Jamaica?

Flow would not sell me any SIM card when I went to their Mega Mart store last February - they said they only sell them to Jamaican citizens.

But I had no trouble getting nano SIM from Digicel store in Negril near Burger King. My iPhone worked everywhere. Just make sure your iPhone is unlocked and bring your passport when you buy your SIM card.

the Flow coverage isn't the best in Negril........can't even get it at mi apartment.....Digicel no problem
bring a Nano cutter if you need dat size.......dem cheap on Ebay......
Digicel likes you to bring in da phone when you buy a sim......plus an ID......
but mi never bring in a phone to the Burger King Plaza store......
a store above Digicel can cut your sim down to a Nano......but dem a likkle expensive in mi opinion

Re: Flow coverage and iPhone SIM

Tanks for the responses, mi breddren.

We have unlocked iPhone 5 (CDMA and GSM so global ready) and got a Digicel nano sim for one of them two years ago. The annoying thing is, you can't use the phone for a hotspot so it took a 2nd trip to buy a WiFi receiver. And a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. until they finally came in. Seeing as Flow has iPhones, I was curious about coverage as an alternative provider and possibility of personal hotspot. Respect --Marblehead
