~Just my two cents worth - I mostly only comment on places I've seen and or eaten at personally.
Jenny's/C&D bar for some great comfort food and an awesome owner.
I recommend the bacon mac n cheese.....
That's some good stuff there booger... Have you ever tried lobster mac n cheese?

I would also throw out the German bar. Just do not get there too late as they tend to run out of things. Brat is solid and their German potatoes are really good. Pizza is not bad either.
German Bar is good quality at a good price. They have their brats custom blended. The potatoes are great and the pizza is pretty darn good, fast and hot!

Walk out to the street, grab a red plate taxi, and tell them to take you to Jenny's. When you need a ride home let her know and she will call a ride for you.
