Does anyone have preferences to any of the Deluxe Ocean view rooms? Are certain rooms better than others?
There are some differences to the Seaview Deluxe rooms, although they are all generally the same quality all have a great sea view. Rooms 1 to 4 are all in the building closest to the road and all have 2 double beds (e.g. smaller than a queen). Rooms 5, 7, and 9 are all on the first floor of the other building, and have king size beds. Rooms 6, 8, and 10 are all on the second floor of that building (better view), but have queen sized beds.
Our preference is room #10. If you don't mind a queen-sized bed, this room is closest to the water and has the best view, IMO. It also has a clear view of the restaurant, which makes it easier to yell down and place your breakfast order.
Here are some pics of the view from room #10:
Line of sight to the restaurant:
Thank you Mike_D for the pics....we got room 10...do you have any pics of the inside?
Good choice! I will see if I can dig-up some pictures of the room, but it will not be an accurate representation of how it looks now. All of the rooms have been updated since we stayed there in room 10, in 2012 (we have since stayed in the Penthouse and room 16). You might be able to find some recent pics on Trip Advisor.

Hi kmolineux. We will be staying at HSH Nov 25-Dec 3. Our first time to Jamaica, and are loving the laid back vibe of this place... not to mention the VIEWS! We splurged on the penthouse suite, which was very cost effective in summer season. When will you be there? If our dates cross, we'll have to have a toast!

Makai1....we don't go down until March...we spend a few days on the cliffs then go down to the beach for a week. We've stayed at Catcha Falling Star a couple of times and also Samsara a couple of times but looking forward to Home Sweet Home. Take pics and post when you get back and enjoy, the cliffs have a lot of neat little places to eat at.
Thanks kmolineux! I'll definitely post afterwards. What are some of the little places you like to eat in the cliffs? It's been fun researching the message boards for info.
