    Cool Trapped at Pushcart

"Where shall we go tonight" I asked ?

    Pushcart!

    Hee hee,
You really loved those Banana Daiquiris', nah true?
Yes, yes, " she replied., it wont take me long to get ready.

No need to call Linston, doll, we'll just do the route Taxi.

We had eaten an early din-din, and I was full to the gills.
In not a long time, baby came outside looking good, all dressed up.
Baby, we are just going for cocktails at pushcart, right?
    "Will not you ever learn?
Going out with a gentleman like you,
I must look good, keep the she-devils off of you.

Hmmmm, What ever, come on, I said, lets hit the road.

Soon, we were in a Route mobile and cruising down the road.
I always have those few extra "puffs" before a car ride.
    So nice!

We hit the town Bus park and quickly changed over to a West end Taxi.

Here we are driver, pull over.
I had given all my cash to baby.

"You are in charge of the loot honey" pay the man.

We exited the car and found out that Pushcart did not open until 3:00 P.M.

So, we walked down the West end road, just taking our time.

Fortunately, the sun had not set and it was still light out.

We found a little place just down the street that was open
they had beers and the rest, and serving soup.

The man of the place asked if we wanted something.

"Just chilling, just hanging out, She told him.
    She whispered to me:

"I don't like to eat just anybody's soup".

Me too, hard to tell what is in it. right?
    Right!

So, a leaned up against a wall and had a smoke,
while my baby played with her Cell phone.

It was about 5 minutes to 3:00.
So, we walked back and the gate was open.

We found our same little table by the seaside.

"This is our special place", she said!

Yeah, it can be just that. I said.

The waiter came over with the Menu's, but we knew just what we wanted.
    "Banana Daiquiris', please"

He smiled, took the menues and walked off.
I could see the bartender make the drinks from where we sat.

I was just staring out to sea when I noticed the dark clouds.
Baby, I think rain soon come.

Half way through the first drink, it stared coming down.
We quickly changed seats to be under the covered portion of the Restaurant.
    Ahhh, this is better.
Soon, the skies opened up with a down pour.

It was warm out and a little bit of rain water hitting me was no real problem.

I noticed that my glass was 1/2 empty, but baby's was done.
    Wow, you love those!
She just smiled and called the waiter.

It kept on raining for about 2 hours straight, no let up.

We had the place all to ourselves!
There were about 5-6 waiters just standing around,
nothing to do but watch 2 people sitting across a table,
playing those little games only lovers can play.

By the Third Daiquiri, I was feeling no pain.

It's not gonna stop anytime soon, I said. Lets risk it.
So, we paid the bill and headed out to the road.

"I told you to bring your umbrella, she said. I got mine,
It was kind of tricky, 2 people, on the side of the road,
trying to flag down a Taxi in the rain.
Her in front, me in back.
I was holding the umbrella, but I caught most of the rain.

Gotta protect the ladies hair, nah true?

    About 10 minutes later,

A Non-Red Plate driver blew his horn and pulled over.
    "Baby said "Bus Park"
We hopped in and was on our way.

Even on the rainy day in Negril, fun can be had!!
