    I love this thread!

    My routine is pretty routine!

Make sure I'm packed, eat dinner, get to bed, wake and shower, get to the airport, and wait to board. No big surprises here!

I love packing so basically, I have everything I need already in the suitcase. It's just a matter of making sure the little things like electronics make it into the bags. I'm flying form my hometown this year so I'll be able to have everything basically packed and ready to go ahead of time, which is different from what I typically do.

Love to hear everyone's stories! Thanks for sharing

Leaving on a weekday, so everyone in the office has that "wish I was going look".

Come home from work and luggage is all ready.
There may be things I picked up at lunch like
extra lighters, lotion, more squito spray.

I usually call and reserve my Taxi ride to the airport during the day, so that would be set.

Call the daughter and remind her that "I'm leaving in the A.M."
If you need me, remember to use my J-phone # or call the hotel.
    (only for emergencies)

Now, time to chill, watch a little TV.
Set the alarm clock for 5:00 A.M.
Set the cell phone alarm too.

I eat a light dinner and drink decaf tea before bed.

I lay out my "traveling clothes"
Just like I use to in grade school.
    Remember,
    "Field trip tomorrow, Mom" Yipee!!

I go to bed at usual 10:30-11:00.

I always take the day prior to leaving off so I can make sure everything is packed, that my hair is cut and colored and nails are all pretty. Then as soon as my husband can sneak out we are on our way to the airport hotel (4hours away ). We usually stop for dinner and get to the hotel between 8-10pm. Then we try and sleep as we have to be up by 3:15am to get to the airport for a 5:35am flight. Needless to say we are usually in bed by 830-900pm our first night in Negril.

I so wish we could fly out closer but the prices are $300-400 more. I have been watching prices as we will be going again next Jan/Feb and it seems if you can book right when prices come out you can get good deals so might have to do that.
