How Funny!! Seriously though, I have received 2 speeding tickets, one in Mobay and one in Negril just as you get into the 7 mile strip. It's been a while, like years, and I don't speed anymore. In Negril they had several of us stopped. The motorcycle cop giving me the ticket turned his back to me to write on his seat and had his gun in full view of me being able to pull it if I was so inclined.

Have noticed over the years how drivers coming the other days "talk" with their headlights warning of up coming speed traps. More and more drivers with radar detectors also.

Got pulled over 1 day outside Lucy, swear to god as I was negotiating my way through the ticket a Rasta got pulled over, out of the car he comes arguing that their speed gun was broke, "I want a do over" he says, everybody is laughing and they let him go back down and come back through, sure enough he was under speed 2nd time

I have won many awards in a lifetime of competition and service. But the highest was offered without plaque or fanfare on a hilltop in post Ivan Jamaica. A true Rasta and a dear friend observed "Chet you are like a father of men, you see need and fulfill that need without being asked". Let us be travelers and not tourist.

on the MoBay side of Lucea was a hot spot for speed traps and roadblocks, just as you got on the "walled part of the road"
