A 18 year old student of Mannings High School in SavLaMar who hails from Whitehouse is off to Princeton to begin his studies to become a chemical/biological engineer on a full scholarship including board, books and tuition. Here is the article in today's Jamaican Observer:

And for the history buffs, Mannings High School has been graduating students since 1738 - YES - the year 1738 - well before the USA became the USA....

I did my graduate work at Princeton in 66 - 67. Glad to see he'll be there. Of course he's gonna love those Jersey winters. Can you say slush?
