Environmental and planning related events are observed throughout the year.  Below are special dates of environmental significance to the global and local community. We encourage you to organize, support and participate in activities to mark the following important dates and events during 2008.

Also note that we are currently in the International Decade for Action: Water For Life 2005-2015, and that 2008 is the International Year of the Reef!
