Was Tessanne and Shaggy in Negril Last Night?
We just had a taxi driver tell us that he was at the show at the beach park by the Negril River last night and both Shaggy and Tessanne sang. He said it was very crowded and the adm. was only 500J. Can this possibly be true? A Google search turns nothing up. Actually it shows Tessanne is scheduled to be in the Rose Bowl Parade which I assume is today?
Had a great time on the beach last night, but hate the thought of missing a Shaggy/Tessanne show.
Happy New Year,

Not Tessanne, she was in LA for the rise parade.

And I'm pretty sure Shaggy wasn't here either. But what a great fantasy show - Shaggy and Tessanne! Still, it was a great NYE in Negril even without them.
Re: Was Tessanne and Shaggy in Negril Last Night?
Is it common in Jamaica to be told such "tall stories"??
Re: Was Tessanne and Shaggy in Negril Last Night?
Stone Love was at the Beach Park on NYE. They are best sound system on the island, but no Tessanne and Shaggy.
And yes, the Negril rumor mill is quite active and often very creative. We have witnessed events and in less than an hour heard elaborate stories that had little or nothing to do with what we witnessed.
That is one of the main reasons we try and restrict rumor and speculation here on the Board. When someone says that they had a friend tell them that they heard that "abc" happened, take it a major grain of salt...
