Jay's Hideaway Guest Rooms - highly recommended!

My fella & I spent a couple of nights at Jay's Hideaway on Westland Mountain Road. Jay's Hideaway is located about 100 yards from Canoe Bar. We had checked it out online and were not too sure about booking site unseen but we figured as it was only two days we should just go for it.

We stayed in one of the four guest rooms, the room comes with flat screen TV, free internet access as well as in room fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee pot as well as cutlery, dishes, pots/pans, glasses etc. outside the room was a small kitchen with a 2 burner stove as well as a kitchen sink.

Our room was on the second storey and it is fully secured with Wrought Iron fencing and gates, two separate gates to get into the building followed by a dead bolt on the door.

On the property are many fruit trees and flowers, the yard is grassy and their are many chickens and roosters wandering the property.

The hosts/owners Jay & Judith are very nice people; laid back, relaxed, friendly & just down right nice ;)

Next time we will likely stay in one of the "junior suites", these ones have full kitchens in the rooms as well as sitting area, dining area, really quite nice.

We met Judith a few trips ago. We'll have to check out Jay's this trip. Thanks for the heads up!

This is a very nice property. I visited there, but have not stayed. May be in my future plans.

There goes another place let out of the bag!!!! Yes, Judith is a wonderful person and I hope her and Jay do very well. When we get ready to stay there next year, there better be a room available!!!..lol
