Xtabi - which cottage to choose?
Ok folks -we've pretty much decided on Xtabi and all of the cottages are available for our dates. 1 & 4 are out, stairs aren't a great option for us. We want a King bed, so that leaves 2, 3 and 6. I know 6 is the only one with AC, not sure if we need it in December though. Sea access (via stairs) isn't important to us - we like nice views, a nice patio/deck that isn't in the full sun all day long. A little overhang for when it rains would be nice, but I'm not sure any of them have that.
What's your favourite and why?
Re: Xtabi - which cottage to choose?
I've stayed in #3 many times :) Covered deck, excellent view! #6 was renovated last year, big deck, a portion of it covered I believe, excellent view. #6 is away from all the others but very close to the kitchen dining area, not as private. I'd just rule out #2!

#5 is where we stayed. Small nice, no AC, just a fan, indoor shower and closest to the bar and restaurant. The bats would come out of the caves right by our patio at dusk. I would stay there again.

The Big ones #1&4 have Hot sun all day. #3 is in the middle and has SHADE......

Trip coming up...hard not to check in, lol. I do miss some people too ;)
Check out Xtabi pics and a video tour on negrilonestop.com, if you haven't already!

Looked at the pics, but not the video tour. Will do that for sure :)
Re: Xtabi - which cottage to choose?
If 1 & 4 are out, number 3 would be by far the best choice. Ive stayed in 1, and would pick 3 over 1.
No. 2 and 5 are pretty small, and not much of a view.
Re: Xtabi - which cottage to choose?
Good to know - in the end we've decided on #3 - like the fact that it has a little more shade. Thanks again to everyone who offered their input!
