So is it a big day in Jamaica? In Mexico it's huge. We don't normally celebrate all that much but I have been on vacation on Valentines and had a lot of fun handing out fun trinkets...someone on here mentioned that it wasn't really a big deal. For some reason I always think of Negril as being a romantic place. Mind you...we are doing the pub crawl on Valentines day.... Not sure how much romance there will be in my future that day...:D
Valentines is very big in Negril.....I always buy lots of stuff, I tend to go overboard but they Love it. Likkle trinkets are nice even it's small they like. I have put happy faces on a lot. They loved it when i gave out likkle heart stickers and they could stick them anywhere. Paula from 3 dives put 1 on her forehead like an indian it was cute. So yeah get a bunch of little things if you have the space.
I had said in another post that they didn't want to celebrate the day. Country folk That's OK...
We do tend to over celebrate sometimes, us N American's.LOL

Excellent! One year on my annual girlfriend trip to PV we wore red boas, funky sunglasses, flashing pins, etc. throughout the night as the mood hit or opportunity arose we handed everything out..we had a blast!
