I have heard there is a new vegetable market in town. Can anyone tell me where it is and what days it is operating?
Is it that lot up behind Jucie patties?
Does the lady still come along in the truck selling veggies on the west end road?
I love to cook in Negril, we are at Xtabi and the cottage by the pool has a kitchen, I have perfected the ackie omlete on a hot plate. Breakfast on the porch is my favourite time of day.
The Farmer's Market is the last Wednesday of each month & located at the beach park nearest the roundabout.
There's a few trucks that sell veggies on the West End...you won't have a problem.

canadageorge, when are you going to be there? We will be there soon also. Do you know anything about getting ice at Xtabi? Is it available to fill 2 coolers/day! lol
George, there is an open area market up there. No real details other than I went there a couple months ago and they had maybe 5-10 booths with local prices. I bought them out of ginger root, and bought a few of dis and dat.
jan24, we are going to be there Mar 2 -17 . We have never had any trouble getting all the ice we needed for our drinks, and there is a frig to keep it in, but to fill a cooler, they will probably charge you for it. Not too much though, they make it on sight. We love Xtabi, pretty laid back and the staff have always been great.
Anyone know where to get fresh made ginger beer? Don't need it yet brrrr although in a few months.
The small market in town is up the lane by the cashpot :)
