a/c or not in may
looks like i'll start out at chatcha gardens may2 for 4 days then to the beach for 6, probably at green leaf. my ? is should i consider a/c or wll fans be sufficient. last year late feb was ok with fans, but have never been in may. went several times in the 90's in sept, but for some reason cant' recall whether we had a/c or not. also, any opinions on sunrise club would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Re: a/c or not in may
My guess is that you would need a/c in May.

Re: a/c or not in may
Russ - debated the same thing - we are at catcha gardens until May 2nd then move to the beach! I almost went with the fan room but quite a few people told me it would be hot (never went in May either) so opted for a room with air.

Re: a/c or not in may
I have visited in May quite a few times and I would definitely want AC whether staying on beach or cliffs.

Yes!! It's extremely hot!

Re: a/c or not in may
I've found that the humidity starts picking up in May....go with A/C

Re: a/c or not in may
I need the AC (on low) to sleep at night.

Re: a/c or not in may
I always go solo, although this year I may have a few tag-along-newbies. Been to Whites Sands once and Fun Holiday twice - both are simple, clean, inexpensive. I'm doing Fun Holiday again this year. April 30-May 19 I always seem to get a better deal at FHBR and its closer to where I want to be: Alfreds (close by), Roots (next door), and the Jungle(cross the road).
