fun holiday,sunrise club, or white sands

narrowed down to these three, all close to same price, but have never stayed in any. any input as far as dining,beach,etc. ro any other helpful hints would be appreciated. thanks everyone

White Sands

Have stayed at White Sands & Fun Holiday, of the 2, I would pick White Sands. Sunrise Club is across the road from the beach, had breakfast there & it was good. Food & drink at Fun Holiday was not that great. Nice beach area at White Sands, food was good & they have a different 2 for 1 drink special everyday. Hope this helps.

Love the location of White Sands

I've stayed at both WS and FH. I choose FH :) I like the location a little better (across the street from the Jungle, next to Roots, close to Alfreds and Sunnyside Bar). I like the beach at both. I never do AI, but I have eaten at both and they are both OK. I think the food at FH improved last time (november'13). Bar is better at WS, say wasup to Tony for me!

WS has rooms on both beach side and morass side - FH is beachside only. If you are getting same price at WS as FH - be sure it's for a beachside room for apples-to-apples price comparison. I've stayed FH before, but not the other two - although have eaten/drank at both.
The things I liked about FH - price, their pool fronts the beach and they have in-pool bar, and the location (Roots 2 doors down and Alfred's an easy walk).
The things about FH I didn't like so much - agree the food is nothing special, but fine if too tired to go out. And the rooms were very basic and seemed a little run down - like had seen too many spring breaks (although clean/safe - which is all I really care about).
All in all, I would stay again at FH.
WS - Has a good beach bar with different daily special - best Dirty Banana on the beach, IMHO. Used to be no TVs in the rooms - but I hear some might have them now?
Sunrise - probably the best food of the three. But as was pointed out before, morass side only - so if go to the beach daily will have to find a place. Not too much of a problem - Bourbon Beach, Mama Flo's, and Sunbeach Bar sort of cater to this - I'm sure there are others.

Hey Russ12 I have to give my vote for White sands I think it has one of the best locations on the beach. Very central easy to walk anywhere. Attachment 33607 I have stayed many times I love it.

I have stayed at both WS and FH... my pick is FH! The location is great as is the price. I also like that the beds and rooms are bigger at FH then WS (we had single beds at WS). I have only had breakfast at FH and it was just ok, but with the location you have many other restaurants to choose from. We always bring/buy our own booze, so don't use their bar too often, but if I recall correctly they don't have a very big assortment and the Red Strip is on tap.
Only 87 more days and the STL Party Crew arrives!

I'm at Fun Holiday right now and I'm really liking the vibe here.....so far.....I'll reserve total judgement when we leave......I will definitely stay again if things continue as they are...love the location.....
