we will be staying at GP in may, we know Alfreds is next store,so will spend some time there. just asking how far is it to Bar B Barn and Yellow Bird could we walk from GP. we have been to Barn B Barn once before but by taxi. so what do think, does anyone have suggestions to closer beach bars if its too far to walk.

Yellow Bird maybe 100 yards or a little more, not far.
wow , good to know didnt know it was that close, so then does that put the
boat bar on down the beach a ways?
Boat bar is the other way but also not a long walk, you can walk to most of the beach bars from GP its nice spot kinda mid beach!
yellowbird, about 5 minute walk, bar b barn, another 5 minute walk past yellowbird...i think that is the best spot on the beach, as PGW said, it is mid beach..great bars both directions...u are about 15-20 minute walk to the roundabout n town if u walk a steady pace.....
Don't forget Sunnyside - can't beat the cold beer for 150 JA and Maureen's a hoot!
ok thanks for the info, sounds like we r in a good spot, have not heard of Sunnyside but will for sure check it out. wait is Maureen the person who plays borsd games? does Alfeds have a cover charge every nite?
Maureen is at Sunnyside right next to Rooms on the beach, Board games are at Tony,s Hut with Grace, the other way beside Waves. Alfreds has live reggae 3 nights a week and that would be the only time there is a cover charge.

take a right and you'll be at boat bar in about 10 minutes.... Great spot to have a few..... Rondel with a very nice seaside bar just before boat bar, nice place to sit and enjoy a drink....
