Packing and a few more sleeps!

Ok, so I've been on this board for many years and I know that I need to take out half of the clothes and take twice the money! I got everything out, washed, and then took some away. I was so proud of myself until I put it in the suitcase! UGH! STILL too much stuff! Trying to decide what stays and what goes. I'm having too many what if moments.

What if I need this black tank?
What if I want to wear clothes during the day rather than my bathing suit and a cover up? (WHICH NEVER HAPPENS!)
What if I need sparkly flipflops?
What if...

Back to packing...

I'm halfway thru the trip & haven't worn the sparkly flip flops yet!

You two crack me up and have cancelled each other out. LOL I think I need to cut back on the "extra and in case" clothes... After all, I know I'll bring back most of it unworn anyway!!

I try to bring as little as possible, without getting ridiculous!

I went in...picked out a few more things...I'm getting closer! I didn't really think I need 6 coverups when 4 will clearly do.

Also packing...totally exhausted...but it will all come together!! Have FUN ladies!!!!

Every single time I go through the same feelings. After this many years, one would think I would have it down pat. But, the "what ifs" always win somehow. Plus, after retirement, I don't have the opportunity to wear half of my clothes....not counting those "Jamaica only" ones! :) So, I have this feeling that I just have to wear some of these clothes that I have. Rationalization..big time!

Right now, I am thrilled that those there and those going...enjoy to the max. We got hit with another cold front last night and it is still snowing. UGGGGGGG

So enjoy paradise!!! Good luck packing. I do have to admit that I have decreased each trip a few pounds since they have started weighing luggage. I guess that is a start........

I like a lot of stuff, too. But dont forget you can always get your clothes laundered midway through.
