Need new recommendations on dining in Negril
We will be staying at The Spa Retreat next month- we will have some meals there; whenever we stay in Negril we tend to eat at the same places like Ivans, Ciao Jamaica, Rockhouse, Pushcart, 3 Dives, Sweet Spice, Sweet Spot, Xtabi and Chill Awhile ( I had breakfast there every morning while I was in Negril in Feb. )
Any suggestions on places close to Spa retreat that we can walk to? How about on the beach? We like seafood, Jamaican cuisine, Italian.. Thanks for any info :)
Re: Need new recommendations on dining in Negril
Had great food at Sunset After Dark which is just down the road a ways same side as the Spa Retreat. Went there 3 times my last reach (once on the Bar Crawl which made us came back for dinner and then a week later for an early dinner)

Sunset after dark is closed for the off season. I've been hearing good things about Swordfish
Re: Need new recommendations on dining in Negril
Put Teddys Hideaway on your list! This is located inside the Blue Cave castle- not far from you. Stop in, check out the caves and the grounds and chow your face off!
Try the Coolie Sing Ting or the Lobster Thermadore- you will Love Teddy and his cookings!
Re: Need new recommendations on dining in Negril
I agree with Teddy's suggestion but you have to try Murphy's out by the lighthouse. What a find, these guys are great. We went back twice in a week and ordered the same thing again. And don't forget about Just Natural. The setting is magical, the food is the best and Theresa's warm smile is worth the trip.
Re: Need new recommendations on dining in Negril
Thanks! We will definitely try Teddy's and Murphy's. We tried Jus Natural last July-however we like our bacon with their eggs and don't like being eaten alive by mosquitoes during breakfast- just our preference

Sips n Bites has wonderful, inexpensive Jamaican food, south side of Rockhouse.
Re: Need new recommendations on dining in Negril
Jenny's is great as well. My favorite place for breakfast in all of Negril. One of the best values as well and good company.

Seastar Inn is walkable and has great food. You will be impressed with the half pound cheese and bacon burger and the wonderful Canadian-style Poutine. But they have authentic Jamaican food that rivals any venue on the island.
Check their menu on their web site. The whole menu and prices are there. Try these wonderful fresh fish fingers:Attachment 35622
