Hey Gearheads
RECORDS were rewritten at last Sunday's National Drag Racing Circuit Nestle Drag Challenge #2 held at Vernamfield in Clarendon.
Adrian McLymont in the Bad Breed Racecraft's Ford Mustang set a new V8 Doorslammer class record with a 8.389 quarter-mile pass during the Pro Race 8 final.

Re: Hey Gearheads
Go to youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsmWURRo8vY
Plenty of video there including Jamwest in Little London
In 1967 I held the NHRA D modified production record in my '67 L88 Camaro at 11.92..very quick for those days. That record lasted 2 weeks until Grumpy Jenkins turned 11.27 with "Grumpy's Toy" He cheats BTW.
Can you imagine how many ways Jamaican rodders have figured out to cheat?
Another pleasant surprise since my return...drags in Little London

Re: Hey Gearheads
That's cool cap..lets face it though..a racer is always going to look for any advantage he can get..like a famous racer (who shall be nameless) told me..it ain't cheatin if you don't get caught.... I guess that's the way it is even today..there were a couple of teams in the 500 this year that are getting dinged for "illegal parts".
