2014 Miss Teen Westmoreland

Congratulations go out to the 2014 Miss Teen Westmoreland Winner and contestants! Yes, our Jamaican family has a lot to smile about as their daughter Colleen Morris won the pageant! There were 33 young ladies vying for the trophy & prizes. We have known Colleen and her family for just about 7 years. Colleen is now 16 years old. They live in Little London. I struck up a friendship with Garnett {Colleen's Dad} when we stayed at Couples Negril one time. He works there. So, over the last 7 years with visits to their home every time we go to Negril, with "stuff" and letters, phone calls, and now social media we've been keeping in touch with the Morris family. Camesha, Garnett's wife and two year old Carla. Plus, we know a few of their neighbors there too! It's been very satisfying and rewarding to know these great people. Colleen is very smart, out-going, pretty, and aspires to be a lawyer some day. I just wanted to pass along some exciting news of our "Jamaican family". Way to go Colleen!! IRIE! Whoop Whoop!!!
