Hi there, I will be getting married on Sept 12, 2014, (Friday) at The Rock house Hotel in Negril. I am looking for a good hairstylist, someone who knows braids, I want a loose beachy look with braids on bangs. :) Any recommendations will be great.

I got married in Negril in Feb of 2011 and I used Debra Barrett of QueenBee Mobile Salon. She was wonderful! I did a trial with her a week before the wedding at her Salon up on the cliffs and then the day of the wedding her and her wonderful partner came to our hotel and took care of myself, my bridesmaids mom and mother in law. She was so incredible she even gave my dad a ride to pick up a last minute wardrobe item!!!! She also did our make-up and was able to offer an airbrush service that translates really well in photo. Her ph #'s are 876-574-6777 or 876-957-0020 and her website is www.qbmobilesalon.com. I did a loose side bun with some curls and a flower and was very happy with the results.

Hi there, Thank you so much for your information. I unfortunately do not arrive in Negril until the day before our wedding.
I would not be able to do a trial with her, however I have heard great reviews about Debra. Thank you so much I will contact her and also have her do my makeup then. :)

If any of the guys need trimmed, go to the Lexus barber shop in white swan plaza.. I always get a haircut there while in negril. The older bald guy, can't remember his name at the moment, but I think it's his place. He cut my hair better the my local barber. And inexpensive. I always give him 15$usd cause that's what I pay at home. I think he charges like 600ja, so that might be part of the reason he always remembers me.. :-)
Yes, I agree that Debra Barrett is the absolute best. She specializes in weddings, including hair, spa services and makeup (which is important because of the sun, heat and humidity). I recently referred a bride and her wedding party to Debra and they loved her services. She is an American, licensed Cosmetologist who teaches on the island... so she has skills and great customer service. I highly recommend her.Quote:
