As many times as I've been to Jamaica in the past eight years-I have never gone in Dec. we have been going to St. Lucia for the past three years in December but decided to head back to Negril this December. Every time I've been in St. Lucia i've never been able to enjoy the water because I found it to be utterly way too cold to swim and snorkel in.. So I'm just wondering what the usual water temp is... 83 days to go wooohooo!👙☀️👌

I'm there every December and unless there is a "Christmas Breeze" (heavy wind) blowing, the water is fantastic and not cold. Actually the wind only makes the air feel cool. Hey, it's Jamaica no problem - LOL
Love the water temp in December. We were in St Lucia last year at end of December, and water was way colder than what we're used to in Negril. Going back to our all-time fav. for December, Negril soon come!
We are in a warm water current and The leeward islands are in a cool water current
