Treehouse Saturday Chores $50US
Growing up with a sister in Pittsburgh we always had Saturday chores
Shovel snow, wash windows, rake leaves, clean a vacant lot for community service or mow the lawn
So throwback Saturday I dedicate to my parents and grandparents who instilled a work ethic in me.
$50 was paid by me to sponson 1 kid in high school who attends Green Island High School.
Looking for more sponsors - I really spent more because I gave him lunch and drinks
Big up Rayja for working he loves making his own money
I try to keep my projects KISS
Grace Kennedy Signs were cleaned by me with some bleach

I do not know where you find the energy Gail!! I know that you do not do it for recognition (purely for the good of the people) BUT...
Not that anyone is keeping track, but I currently count a minimum of 6 philanthropic projects that you are spearheading:
St. Anthony's Beans
Shoe Drive
Room Sale for Breast Cancer Treatment
Saturday Chore Day
Glasses for those in Need
Periodic Health Clinics
Those are just the ones I am aware of from reading the board!
I have said it before and now I say it again - I am humbled to know such a person as you. I aspire to replicate your spirit of giving.
Saturday Chore Day is is SUCH A GREAT IDEA!!!! I too am from the generation of the Saturday Chore List. No fun was to be had until everything was checked off of the list... I do not remember being paid for it! LOL - My mom would say it was in exchange for room and board! LOL
I would love to sponsor a "worker" for a day. Sign me up! Can I just put an envelope with check when I send the shoes to the Miami address?
