NY Eve
In past years, the beach was always the place to be on NYE with many Jamaican families, fireworks and luminary candles floating skyward.
Last year, the beach was sadly empty on NY Eve.
Where is the best place to ring in the New Year, with tourists and locals alike?

Re: NY Eve
I'll be on the rooftop deck at Travellers at their NYE gala. Hoping to be able to see surrounding activities from there. Read that locals get together at the park. Perhaps Alfred's will have a good mix that night?

Re: NY Eve
It was pretty quiet on the cliffs last year.
We planned on going to a concert but the performer was a no show.
So I was thinking of checking out the beach this NYE instead!!

Re: NY Eve
I'll be there for NYE also. We always go out for NYs at home, so I was looking forward to New year's in Negril. So, where's the party and what do I wear?

Re: NY Eve
The beach was quiet last year. When I posted after NY asking why so quiet, posters said the party was in the square. I know many locals are at the park close to the roundabout, but I am not thinking that tourists are very welcome.
Anyone have ideas?! I miss the new years when Alfred's had fireworks and the beach was packed.....
