Gotta keep walking

They say walking is a good exercise.
I love to walk up and down the road or beach.

Ya really can't tell what a place is like if you whiz by in an automobile.
While walking, You will be asked to "come over" and check the place out.
If the place or person seems interesting, go over and take a look see.
You can give it a quick glance or sit a spell.

The lonely, half deserted places attract my eye.

"what is the story" "Is there something or someone keeping the people away?"
A mystery to be solved Watson.
You may see a person sweeping or cleaning.
Stop and talk. Most likely that will be management or owner of the place.

I have discovered that a new face, even if you are not buying something is
is a welcome sight to folks that work at the shops or restaurants.

Be friendly when you travel. You may be talking to the owner and receive
a great deal on your next reach.

Eat a biiig breakfast and walk off the calories while exploring.

Beach or road, you decide.

Keep it fun and don't take yourself too seriously.
Jamaicans love the "rat a tat, talkin back, I like your hat" interaction.
Just make sure to do it with a smile and a laugh.

If you hear something wild,
smile, laugh, wave them on with a "you so crazy laugh".

Good advice! Walking about is truly the best way to explore Negril. Just a simple walk to the store can be an adventure of a lifetime!! My favorite time is when a sudden downpour of rain begins and one seeks shelter. Suddenly, it seems everyone bonds rather quickly and the fun begins.

Great post! I agree...go ahead, smile and start a conversation, it could turn out to be a nice experience.

Walking the beach or road is my favorite thing to do!! A smile goes a long way to brighten yours and anyone else's day......lots of fun to stop and chat along the way. I love the interaction and after a couple days you are greeted with a shout and a wave as you go. I can hardly wait!!
