Recently back - a few notes
The Beach - The day I got there - there was gorgeous 15 foot strip in front of treehouse. It took 36 hours to wash it all away :(
The Vendors next to roots - New Shiny zinc fence there. The vendors are all cramped up in front of the fence now. Looks a lot different.
Wedding Plans - A pretty much set. Relief for Jackie for sure.
Skip - Is doing as well as ever it seems. Great to see him wandering Negril.
Italian Cafe - had a wonderful drunken late nite pizza (actually 2) with Poolguy.
Connie's - The Bacon Mac n Cheese is awesome as ever.
Susan's bar - She put the Eagles on the projector for me. Had a wonderful time.
Sadly we were only there 6 days and it took me at least 4 to really sink down into the vibe. It was really tough. Just so busy at work lately and I was a little too high strung to relax right away. Didnt even really get out to all my favorite places that I normally go. Was in bed early 4 of the nights. Like before 10 Early. I know I disappointed some folks with that, and I am sorry.
poolguy came into down the second to last day and he's a buddy of mine now, after several meetups in negril and even a visit from him to my house in PA for our engagement party. We did an epic pub crawl from Treehouse to Seastar. Drank a lot of beers. A shot of tequila? Maybe snuck in a cake? That was probably our most fun day down there, but it was the last day a lot of people were there, so that kind of stunk. So it was bittersweet to say goodbye to people at the end of the night.
Overall a good trip as always, but I just took too long to get into the swing of it.

It was good seeing ya Flip and a short trip is definately better then no trip at all!

New rebuilt vendor area going in there soon including my daughter's place "Fruits and Roots"
Should be done by January sometime (not sure what year though :rolleyes:)
