Over the years I have stayed at many places with the "old school" room safes, the ones with the skeleton key. My question is, will a full size I-pad fit through the door opening? Will an I-pad mini fit? Crazy question I know but it's almost Christmas and I don't want to give one that can't make the trips with us. I am hoping someone on this board has tried successfully or unsuccessfully to fit one in.
Thanks for any advice you can share on this matter before Santa arrives.

Hi Rumlover! Great name btw! I can't speak for all safes but I know that my Kindle Fire HDX fits and it is 8.9 inches. I'm like you, if I am going to travel with a device...I want it to fit in the safe! Hope to see you in Negril! :)
I know my original iPad (the first one out) fit into the safe at Tree House if that helps.
Thanks everyone for all the info. Love the idea of the pacsafe. I know others on the board have suggested them. I just not sure I will have anything to secure it to. I have been debating which size iPad to buy and was hoping this would somehow help me make up my mind. No matter what they say in this case size matters. lol
My full size ipad fits in the safes at Cocolapalm. Don't recall anywhere in negril that it didn't fit, actually.
My Microsoft Surface fits in the safe at Seastar
