Due to other obligations we had to cancel our reservations in April for the two upper beachfront rooms at the Donaldson Inn. If anyone is looking for fantastic rooms at a great price give them a call or send them an email. The Donaldson Inn is a Jamaican family owned Inn with 4 beachfront rooms and 6 garden rooms with ocean view. Our favorite rooms are the 2 upper beachfront and feature beamed cathedral ceilings and a large seating balcony overlooking the ocean
Where are they located?
Beach side, across the street from Ossie's Jerk Shack. Between Sea Splash/Norma's Restaurant and The Palms. Here is link to a map and look around 3.5km on the beach road.

We have stayed there since 1992. Great family owned property. Delores O'Conner (Miss Del) is the second generation owner. The property is between Sea Splash and Palms. One of the original properties on the beach since the late 60's. Lena's Inn Ting Restuarant is on the beach. Great stop for breakfast and lunch. Ossie's Top Taste IE-Miss Marge (Ossie's Donaldson's wife) Restuarant on the road across from Ossie's Jerk Center is one of the best values for dinner you will find. Some of the best jerk pork and chicken can be found at Ossie's Jerk Center. Although, just say in' if you like jerk pork, Red Dragon is my jerk pork of choice. Our reservations at Donaldson's Inn are in place for life.

Best to contact them directly for room availability and prices. I can tell you the rates used to be around $100 for the beachfront rooms including all taxes. Our reservations were middle 2 weeks in April but they may have additional openings. We have also stayed in the garden rooms and are very nice. Sometimes we had to stay in a garden room at beginning or end of a longer trip with the middle days in the upper beach front rooms. Just depends on what is available.
Gman - all rooms have A/C available but we never have used it when staying in the upper beachfront rooms. Trade winds are more then enough.
dont know if it was u guys, we were at the palms last week of april last year...the people in the top 2 rooms at donaldsons were having a blast...and one night they had a party on the beach in front of donaldsons with a bonfire....almost went over and introduced myself and joined in...lol...
groove16 - it was not us BUT we always had a blast there and at least a couple of bonfires ............. so much fun there, so many memories, so sad we can not stay this time around
