Digicel SIM card ???

Do I need a special SIM card to have Internet on my phone with digi Cel? Most trips I use a friends extra SIM card, (funny how some Jamaicans have 1 phone but a few SIM cards). If I go to digi cel with the card can I buy a pre paid data plan on the same SIM card or will I have to buy a new SIM card? Can I just add a data plan and international plan to an already active SIM card?

Yes you can buy a data plan for the same SIM. But one caveat, if you go over your data allowance the system will start charging you balance at no plan rates.
