Pretty last minute this year. Made it down for Christmas, but not New Year's this time.
Just got in yesterday - staying in Mobay first three nights, making the travel not so bad all on one day.
Staying at Half Moon - man this is nice. Rainy, but nice digs. It's huge! like 3 or 4 resorts all together.
Heading to Samsara Monday for a week.
Any shows listed for Negril in the next week or so?

Moving to Samsara tomorrow. Going to be sad to leave Half Moon, but nice to get to Negril of course. We had heard that the Sugar Mill restaurant was over-hyped, not worth it, etc. Supposed to be one of the nicest restaurants on the island. It did not disappoint. Great wine list (we ended up with a 2002 Grand Cru), service, and food. Not on the water, but the historic water mill and grounds were beautiful and the service excellent.
I had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten at that restaurant, I couldn't believe it. Beef was from Argentina or somewhere like that. Nicest AI I've been to. But not enough to keep me from Negril.

Made it to Samsara. Some stress about the room, but got it fixed and all good now. Pillar room for the next week, nice. Will try to post some pics tomorrow. Heard a rumor that Morgan Heritage was at Bourbon Beach tonight, not sure if we will make it down to check it out. No signs of anything, heard it at De Bar from some other tourists.
