seawind
Happy Holidays to everyone on the board.
I have a question regarding the Seawind resort. I have reservations there for Feburary and have read on here that they closed their doors. I have made other reservations at Beach Club so at least I have a place with no worries. My question is... Is there anyway to prove this so that I can get a refund from my credit card company? I called mastercard and they are asking for proof somehow.
I have read the other posts on here and have printed them off to send to them but was looking for something a little more concrete. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
On a good note I am looking forward to my two week stay once again in Feb.. soon come and thanks for any help

Re: seawind
From their Facebook page:
Sea Wind Ladies and Gentle men I am very aware that everyone is curious, concerned and wants more details in regards to the out come of this situation. Please bare in mind that this matter is in the Supreme Court. The truth will be revealed for all to see and hear and it will quiet all the idol chatter. Again I say the property formerly known as Sea Wind Resort is CLOSED. We ask for your patience as we work to repay all deposits made for the Winter and Spring period of 2014-2015.

Re: seawind
We were supposed to be at seawind now- they are used and vacant.
My cc company actually got their bank with minimal effort. Their bank confirmed they are closed to my cc company. Good luck!

Re: seawind
Apparently, SeaWind is going to be reopening soon!! New Lease Owner. Already starting put new beds in as well as making repairs caused by the looting.
Of cours, it will be renamed. As to the new name, I dont know yet. They have opened the Bar on the property. Asked if they were going to contact people
that had reservations for Feb/Mar/Apr and see if they wanted to rebook w/them. They stated that they dont have access to those names etc and no way to contact.
