Big up to the Maroons today

Today marks the 277th anniversary of the signing of the peace treaty between the Maroons led by "Nanny" (national hero) and the British.

There's a big celebration in Accompong.

There was a "Maroon Pre-Independence" Party held at 3 Dives on Sunday - bus loads of Maroons came down for the event! It was great dancing and celebrating with this tremendous group.
